As a Builder or Developer you will be working to the Building Regulations that were revised in 2002 and amended in 2006. To help you comply with Building Regulations we supply SAP (Standard Assessment Procedure) calculations and PEAs (Preditive Energy Assessments). For the sale of a property on completion of construction we provide 'as built' Energy Performance Certificates.

Energy Performance Certificates for the sale or letting of residential property. EPCs are a mandatory requirement for Home Information Packs and also for new tenancy agreements for leased property. We also offer further services including; floor plans for the sale of a property, inventories and schedule of conditions for new leases. EPCs become mandatory for let properties from the 1st of October 2008.

Energy assessments are required for the sale and lease of all commercial properties. The fine imposed on not having the correct EPC at the time of sale or lease is 12.5 % of the rateable value. We cover all building sizes and types. There is a phased introduction of EPCs depending on the type and size of the building.
